Oreo Fudge Sauce


8oz Black Cocoa
4 cups sugar
1/4 tsp salt

Add these ingredients to LARGE stock pot. Mix up - make sure there aren't any clumps.

Add 1 1/2 Cups Light Corn syrup. Stir.  Will be a grainy paste.

Put pot on stove, slowly add 4 cups of warm water-stirring to make sure well blended.  Bring to a boil.  Boil rapidly and stir for 1 minute.  Reduce heat to a simmering boil. Simmer 10 minutes stirring occasionally.  

Ladle into clean sterilized jars. Tighten 2 piece lids and can in Hot Water Bath canner for 20 minutes.

Yield: 4 pints

(Can use other kinds of cocoa but don't expect the oreo taste!)
